Not even Colin Farrell in your remake can deter audiences from STILL choosing to see The Dark Knight Rises over you!
That's right, the concluding chapter to Christopher Nolan's trilogy topped the box office this weekend with a DOMINATING $36.4 million, while the aforementioned action reboot apparently opened little-to-no better than its original version in 1990, with $26 million!
As box-office analyst Jeff Bock explains:
"For a late sumer film, with a budget like this, you obviously expect moreĆ¢¦It's definitely a misfire."
Yeesh! Not too good!
But we STILL think Kate Beckinsale looks BADASS in it!
Maybe not as badass as Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, but still!
