It feels like it's been eleventy-one years since we first found out about The Hobbit being turned into a movie.
Recently, we found out it's actually going to be a trilogy!
The subtitles for the first two films in the series, An Unexpected Journey and There And Back Again are just about set in stone, but what will they call the third one?
A source inside New Line reports that they have purchased the rights to two different titles: The Battle of Five Armies and The Desolation of Smaug.
The Desolation of Smog?? Sounds like El Lay during rush hour!
We doubt they'll toss a coin on a billion dollar franchise, so we can probably expect the cooler sounding The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies in our Christmas stockings in 2014.
Now if only those 5 Armies were 5 Armie Hammers! Mmm… Visual place…
